Active day out

PDHPE

Games, challenges and adventure for an active day out!

Students will be challenged in personal and small and large teams. Games will be played in the parklands at the Chipping Norton Lakes to develop skills and strategies in target and territory games. The day commences with mindful activites to develop a deep sense of connection to Country and wellbeing. Students will work with friends to build a base in the woodland and learn about Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander connections to Country, Community and Culture. They will experience native foods for health and hygiene and use tools made from natural fibres. With growing confidence students will then participate in large group target and territory games to improve ball skills and movement. Indigenous games using items from nature and world games will be played.

Maximum four classes per day.
