Special programs

Our Centre offers special programs that are developed with you to maximise student learning. Our programs are based in the outdoor classroom on Country where we believe students learn best. Our programs are hands-on, interactive and provide positive and memorable learning experiences that lock learning into long term memory.

Our programs are developed and delivered by highly experienced staff with many years of expertise in education and outdoor learning. Their knowledge ensures each experience is safe, engaging, and purposeful.

Full day excursion or incursion cost

Costs are calculated at a cost recovery.

  • Full day - $800 per Georges River EEC educator to a maximum of 30 students
  • Part-day - $400 per Georges River EEC educator to a maximum of 30

An Interschool Journal request or sales order will then be prepared and sent to your school for payment.

Low waste food and water bottle

Sun protection - hats and sunblock

Insect repellent

Incursions require:

A suitable outdoor space for active games. In case of wet weather please provide access to the school hall or COLA for the duration of the program.

Sports shoes

Raincoat in case of wet weather. Please no umbrellas.

Staff and student welfare

Leadership programs include active games and may not be suitable for recently unwell participants.

For medical or special needs notify staff prior to program.

Extreme or wet weather

In general, our staff are prepared to complete learning programs in varied weather conditions except where health and safety could be compromised. School staff should assess the appropriateness of the visit with poor conditions and discuss with our centre staff as soon as possible. In the event of cancellation, we will do our best to find an alternative date.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation or major changes to bookings will incur the following cancellation fees:

  • within 30 days of excursion or incursion date - $600 administration fee charged
  • within 7 days of excursion/incursion date - total fee charged based on confirmed student numbers.
  • Weather or fire danger cancellation – $0
