Secondary excursions

Georges River Environmental Education Centre delivers curriculum-aligned secondary excursions for Years 7–12. Programs are conducted in outdoor environments to build skills in fieldwork, inquiry, primary data collection, critical thinking and analysis.

Led by qualified NSW Department of Education science and geography trained teachers with experience in outdoor program delivery and nature pedagogy.

Stage 4 excursions

Fieldwork programs to introduce secondary fieldwork skills and investigate landscapes and landforms, water in the world and ecosystems.

Stage 5 excursions

Fieldwork programs to strengthen and further develop fieldwork skills in environmental change and management.

Stage 6 excursions

Fieldwork programs to extend and maximise student outcomes in secondary student fieldwork skills in biology, earth and environmental science, geography and investigating science.
