Program overview
The Active play day excursion is an Early stage 1 (Kindergarten) PDHPE program designed to maximise learning outcomes. Through structured outdoor games and movement-based activities, students explore the importance of physical activity, cooperation and healthy lifestyles with their favourite animal soft toy
Students spend the day in the parklands along the Georges River. During this excursion, children will develop fundamental movement skills such as running, balancing and coordination while participating in guided active play. Activities encourage students to work together, follow instructions and build confidence in a supportive outdoor environment.
