Bring your favourite animal toy for a day of fun and adventure.
Together we will explore our sense of place and belonging in the natural world as we move, play and connect together on Darug Country. We listen to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander stories that share messages about staying safe and meet Tiddalick's friends Pesto, Pistachio and Pickle to show care and respect to small creatures. We will play different games to develop movement skills including balancing, sprinting, and catching using our nature play gardens and the woodland in the parklands. Cooperative games provide opportunities for students to play fairly, increase spatial awareness and promote safety to enhance enjoyment and motivation.
Students are encouraged to bring a healthy litter free lunch to enjoy a picnic in the parklands with their friends and favourite animal toy.
Maximum four classes per day.
