- All visitors must sign in on arrival to the Georges River EEC through Service NSW Check in.
- All visitors must comply with the centre's safety requirements.
- All hazards and incidents must be reported to Georges River EEC staff.
- Injuries will be recorded in the record of first aid treatment.

Safety information
Emergency procedures
- Teachers and students should cease activities immediately.
- Leave all belongings behind.
- Gather in the closest safe area. Refer to emergency assembly points map for the appropriate location.
- Visiting teachers mark student rolls. Georges River EEC staff to check staff and visitor registration.
- Note any discrepancies from rolls - report to principal.
- Georges River EEC staff to notify appropriate authority.
- Await arrival of emergency services or take other appropriate action.
Lockdown procedures
- The Principal will be responsible for ordering lock-down procedures when a major threat is imminent.
- Visiting teachers will be informed of the threat and the application of these procedures.
- The principal or delegate will contact the Police and Emergency Services.
- Gather in classrooms or safe area. Pull down blinds. Lock doors.
- Visiting teachers mark student rolls.
- Georges River EEC staff to check staff and visitor registration.
- Note any discrepancies from rolls - report to principal.
- Wait for response from Police or Emergency Services.
Bushfire procedures

- Check weather forecast and rating on morning of excursion.
- Potential risk contact Liverpool City Council 1300 362 170 and Emergency Services 000.
- Alert staff and schools regarding fire danger risk.
- Cancel activity and gather in the closest safe area.
- Visiting teachers mark student rolls, Georges River EEC staff to check staff and visitor registration.
- Note any discrepancies from rolls - report to Principal.
- Georges River EEC staff to notify appropriate authority.
- Await arrival of emergency services or evacuate to other site.
