Our centre provides engaging primary school excursions for Early stage 1 through to Stage 3, giving students the chance to learn through real-world, hands-on experiences. Whether they’re exploring local ecosystems, meeting our animals, or investigating the world around them, we create meaningful learning moments that support the curriculum and spark curiosity. We love helping students discover just how exciting nature and science can be.

Early stage 1
Excursions for Early stage 1 students that spark curiosity through hands-on experiences designed for Kindergarten students. Our excursions use play, storytelling and sensory exploration to introduce living things, habitats and Aboriginal ways of caring for Country through authentic outdoor learning.
Stage 1
Excursions for Stage 1 students to inspire young learners with engaging outdoor learning experiences that build observation, inquiry and fieldwork skills. Scientific equipment, games and stories support students to investigate local environments, living things and sustainability through hands-on environmental education.
Stage 2
Excursions for Stage 2 students providing opportunities to investigate real environment through authentic fieldwork and hands-on learning. Our Stage 2 excursions support the NSW curriculum by developing scientific inquiry, geographical skills and an understanding of living things, ecosystems, Aboriginal perspectives and sustainability.
Stage 3
Excursions for Stage 3 students to enable students to think critically about the world around them through engaging environmental investigations. Stage 3 excursions combine fieldwork, problem-solving and collaborative learning to explore ecosystems, human impacts and sustainable futures.
